Our water stops are coordinated to support the routes and start times listed. If you modify the routes or start times, please take water to cover yourselves in case the water is unavailable.
THE ROUTES
2.5 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Seaholm, up to 3rd Street, and across to Congress. Right on Congress down to Riverside. Riverside to Auditorium Shores, over to Pfluger footbridge, and back to HQ. For 3 miles full, feel free to add a victory lap around the park at GZLs HQ.
4 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Seaholm, up to 3rd Street, and across to Congress. Right on Congress down to W. Monroe. Right on W. Monroe over to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th back to Barton Springs Road. Cross BS Road to north side of street, and go left on BS Road over to Lee Barton St at the bike shop, going right on Lee Barton alongside the pitch and putt golf course to Riverside. Cross Riverside to Pfluger footbridge across to HQ.
5 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Seaholm, up to 3rd Street, and across to Congress. Right on Congress down to W. Live Oak. Right on W. Live Oak over to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th back to Barton Springs Road. Cross BS Road to north side of street, and go left on BS Road over to Lee Barton St at the bike shop, going right on Lee Barton alongside the pitch and putt golf course to Riverside. Cross Riverside to Pfluger footbridge across to HQ.
7 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Seaholm, up to 3rd Street, and across to Congress. Right on Congress down to Lightsey (this is where you diverge from 8 milers, by the way). Right on Lightsey over to S. First. Left on S. First to zigzag up to Cardinal. Right on Cardinal over to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th back to Barton Springs Road. Cross BS Road to north side of street, and go left on BS Road over to Lee Barton St at the bike shop, going right on Lee Barton alongside the pitch and putt golf course to Riverside. Cross Riverside to Pfluger footbridge across to HQ.
8 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Seaholm, up to 3rd Street, and across to Congress. Right on Congress all the way to access road at Ben White Blvd (71). Right on access road sidewalk over to S. First. Right on S. First up to Cardinal. Left on Cardinal over to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th back to Barton Springs Road. Cross BS Road to north side of street, and go left on BS Road over to Lee Barton St at the bike shop, going right on Lee Barton alongside the pitch and putt golf course to Riverside. Cross Riverside to Pfluger footbridge across to HQ. For the complete 8, you’ll want to take a victory lap of the dog park at HQ before finishing. It’s 7.7 without the victory lap.

Right on access road sidewalk over to S. First. Right on S. First up to Cardinal. Left on Cardinal over to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th back to Barton Springs Road. Cross BS Road to north side of street, and go left on BS Road over to Lee Barton St at the bike shop, going right on Lee Barton alongside the pitch and putt golf course to Riverside. Cross Riverside to southside trail. Take SS trail over to Mopac, and cross to north side. Finish via northside trail, and back to HQ. Course measures a little long, so you can go into recovery mode at the softball/baseball field at Austin Hight on the way home.
12 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Seaholm, up to 3rd Street, and across to Congress. Right on Congress all the way to access road at Ben White Blvd (71). Right on access road sidewalk over to S. First. Right on S. First up to Cardinal. Left on Cardinal over to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th back to Barton Springs Road. Cross BS Road to north side of street, and go left on BS Road over to Lee Barton St at the bike shop, going right on Lee Barton alongside the pitch and putt golf course to Riverside. Cross Riverside to southside trail. Take SS trail over to Mopac, and cross to north side. Veterans along and back up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LAB over to Exposition. Turn around at Expo, and return to northside trail, and back to HQ.
14.5 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Seaholm, up to 3rd Street, and across to Congress. Right on Congress all the way to access road at Ben White Blvd (71). Right on access road sidewalk over to S. First. Right on S. First up to Cardinal. Left on Cardinal over to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th back to Barton Springs Road. Cross BS Road to north side of street, and go left on BS Road over to Lee Barton St at the bike shop, going right on Lee Barton alongside the pitch and putt golf course to Riverside. Cross Riverside to southside trail. Take SS trail over to Mopac, and cross to north side. Veterans along and back up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LAB over to Enfield. Hard right on Enfield, and then Enfield under Mopac. You will exit Enfield at the right hand veer onto Hartford. Right on Hartford to Palma Plaza. Left on Palma Plaza to a right hand turn onto 14th St. 14th over to West Lynn. A short right down W. Lynn to W. 13th Street. Left on W. 13th over to Blanco. Right on Blanco down to 12th St. Left on 12th over to West Avenue. Right on West Ave. down to Seaholm and back to HQ. Course measures a bit long, so feel free to relax into a recovery mode once you cross 5th Street on the way home.

Hard right on Enfield, and then Enfield under Mopac. You will exit Enfield at the right hand veer onto Hartford. Right on Hartford to Palma Plaza. Left on Palma Plaza to a right hand turn onto 14th St. 14th over to West Lynn. A short right down W. Lynn to W. 13th Street. Left on W. 13th over to Blanco. Right on Blanco down to 12th St. Left on 12th over and up to Guadalupe. Left on Guadalupe up to 15th Street. Right on 15th over to San Jacinto. Right on San Jacinto up to 11th Street. Right on 11th over to Congress. Left on Congress down to 3rd Street. Right on 3rd over to Seaholm and back to HQ.

Continue San Jacinto through UT campus to veer right at oil derrick. Stay on San Jacinto up to 11th Street. Right on 11th over to Congress. Left on Congress down to 3rd Street. Right on 3rd over to Seaholm and back to HQ.

Right on Duval down to San Jacinto to and through UT Campus. Continue San Jacinto through UT campus to veer right at oil derrick. Stay on San Jacinto up to 11th Street. Right on 11th over to Congress. Left on Congress down to 3rd Street. Right on 3rd over to Seaholm and back to HQ.
THE MARATHONS
Jan 12 (Disney Dopey Challenge): 8-12 miles, last 4 @ MGP. Start relaxed, and then for last 4 miles, lock into actual Marathon Goal Pace.
Jan 18 (REVEL Hawaii, Houston): Taper madness week 2. 12-16 miles, last 6 @ MGP. Start relaxed, and then for last 6 miles, lock into actual Marathon Goal Pace.
Feb 9 (Galveston): 12-14 miles recovery long run. Back off a bit from last week.
Feb 16th (Austin): 18-20 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 20 mile max.
March 1 (Cowtown, Napa): 16-20 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 20 mile max.
April 20 (Boston): 10-12 miles recovery long run. Back off a bit from last week
April 26 (Eugene/London): 10-14 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 14 mile max.
THE HALF MARATHON
Jan 19th, 2020 (3M Half, Houston Half): 6-10 miles, with last 3-4 @ HMGP. Start relaxed, and then finish with 3-4 miles at actual half marathon goal pace.
Feb 16th 2020 (Austin Half): 10-12 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 10 mile max.
Mar 1st 2020 (Napa Half, Publix Half): 8-10 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 10 mile max.
Mar 15th 2020 (NYC Half): 8-10 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 10 mile max.
April 26th 2020 (Eugene Half): 5-8 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 8 mile max.
BEGINNER GAZELLES
This week, 3-7 miles. Choose a distance amongst your pace pals, up to that 7 mile max.
ALL OTHERS
7-12 miles. If you went 12 last week, maybe cut back to 7-10 this week. For anything else, add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 12 mile mark.
