This route measures 19 miles. You have three choices on how to do this route. First, just run 19 instead of 18 miles. Second, ease into a cool down walk/jog once you hit 6th street on Congress. Third, have the drivers drop you at the Balcones Post Office on Jollyville a mile down from Big Lots. Hang out there, and then jump in with your pals when they go by.
Take Jollyville down to Great Hills Trail. Left on Great Hills over to Stonelake. LEFT on Stonelake. Take Stonelake north to Braker. Right on Braker over to Burnet. Jan 12th 2020 (Disney Dopey Challenge): Taper madness begins. 14-18 miles, last 8 @ MGP. Start relaxed, and then for last 8 miles, lock into actual Marathon Goal Pace.
Jan 18th 2020 (REVEL Hawaii, Houston): 20-22 miles. The last looonngggg run. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 22 mile max.
Feb 9th 2020 (Galveston): 12-14 miles recovery long run. Back off a bit from last week.
Feb 16th 2020 (Austin): 16-20 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 20 mile max.
March 1, 2020 (Cowtown, Napa): 14-18 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer run, up to that 18 mile max.
