Alternatively, if you want to start with the rest of the folks, then here is an optional route (be sure and check with your pace pals about which route to choose). Alternate map is here. Start at HQ, then Electric Avenue to Seaholm, across 3rd Street to the Convention Center. At the Convention Center, take a LEFT up to 4th Street. Right on 4th under I-35 to east side, and take a RIGHT on Waller Street (not Waller Creek, y’all). Waller down to Holly. LEFT on Holly over to Comal. RIGHT on Comal down to Festival Beach Road. RIGHT on Festival Beach Road back to I-35 and northside trail. Take NS trail back to HQ.

Enter NS trail at Holly, out to Longhorn Dam. Cross to south side of dam, to south side trail and boardwalk back to Pfluger bridge. Cross over LB Lake at Pfluger bridge, back to GZLs HQ.
10 Miles: Your map is here. Start at HQ, then Electric Avenue to Seaholm, across 3rd Street to the Convention Center. At the Convention Center, take a LEFT up to 4th Street. Right on 4th under I-35 to east side, and take a RIGHT on Waller Street (not Waller Creek, y’all). Waller down to Holly. LEFT on Holly all the way to Holly power plant site and park. Enter NS trail at Holly, out to Longhorn Dam. Cross to southside of dam, to southside trail. After the water stop there, curl under and through Longhorn Dam to east side and the softball park. Go around the lake side of the fields, around to the greenbelt trail that goes along the creek. The trail has some branches, but hang to the left at any intersections. Turn around when your watch says about 5.1 miles, or when the trail dumps into Elmont/Wickersham street at the apartments. Turn around at that point, and retrace your greenbelt steps back to and around the softball fields, through Longhorn Dam, and back to southside trail. From there, take southside trail and boardwalk back to Pfluger bridge. Cross over LB Lake at Pfluger bridge, back to GZLs HQ.

LEFT on Grove, past the library, golf course, apartments, and ACC, all the way to the Roy Guerrerro Park. Stay on the main road as it curves left, past baseball and softball fields, to a parking lot on your left. At that last parking lot, enter a greenbelt trail there and take a LEFT. The greenbelt trail will take some bends and a right hand corner. Stay on the main trail until it T’s into more trail. Take a LEFT at this intersection, and follow the trail across the creek. Stay on this trail as it heads more or less straight to Pleasant Valley again. Now cross Pleasant Valley to southside trail and boardwalk. From there, take southside trail and boardwalk back to Pfluger bridge. Cross over LB Lake at Pfluger bridge, back to GZLs HQ.

From there, take southside trail and boardwalk back to Pfluger bridge. If you cross there to HQ, it is 13 miles. To get your 14, I recommend staying on southside trail around the corner to the apartments that are near the trail. Take a LEFT behind those apartments up to Toomey. Toomey back to Lamar, to the trail, Pfluger Bridge, and back to HQ. That’s a pleasant extra mile.

To get to 22, I recommend a LEFT on Expo up to Bridle Path. RIGHT on Bridle Path, around the corner to Sharon. Sharon up to and across Windsor to Indian Trail. LEFT on Indian Trail out to Keating Lane (the second right hand street), where you will turn around. Return Indian Trail to Sharon, to Bridle Path to Expo. LEFT on Expo all the way to LA Blvd. LA Blvd to Veterans to Mopac. Veterans around the Austin High track and curve under Cesar Chavez to bike path. Take bike path back to HQ along north side of Cesar Chavez.
