3 Miles: Your map is here. Pfluger footbridge to Mopac trail loop.

4 Miles: Your map is here. First St. bridge to Mopac Trail Loop.

5 Miles: I recommend a Congress to Mopac trail loop. But, you could take the 7 mile map below, and turn around when your watch says 2.5 miles, approximately at Woodland/East Annie St., and retrace your steps back to HQ.

7 Miles: Your map is here. This is an out and back trip, for an option. GZLs HQ across Pfluger footbridge to south side trail go left towards I-35. Exit trail and boardwalk at trailhead behind new Ciderarcade (former Joe’s Crab Shack), up to Riverside. Left up Riverside and cross Riverside at crosswalk on Alameda Drive. Alameda to first right hand turn, which is East Side Drive. Due to construction, take the alley road left up to park road, where you will turn right over to East Side Drive to detour around the pool. Left on East Side Drive and go up as it takes a big left hand turn and continues up with greenbelt park on your left. East Side Drive to St. Edward’s campus, to name change to University Circle. Turn around at water stop at St. Edward’s, and retrace your steps back to HQ.

7.8 miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ across Pfluger footbridge to south side trail go left towards I-35. Exit trail and boardwalk at trailhead behind new Ciderarcade (former Joe’s Crab Shack), up to Riverside. Left up Riverside and cross Riverside at crosswalk on Alameda Drive. Alameda to first right hand turn, which is East Side Drive. Due to construction, take the alley road left up to park road, where you will turn right over to East Side Drive to detour around the pool. Left on East Side Drive and go up as it takes a big left hand turn and continues up with greenbelt park on your left. East Side Drive to St. Edward’s campus, to name change to University Circle. At the top of the hill, take a left through the Theater parking lot over to Theater Pass, and take a right on Theater Pass to Woodward. Right on Woodward across S. Congress to name change to Lightsey. At S. First, take a short left then immediate right onto Cardinal. Cardinal to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th. to Barton Springs Road. LEFT on BS Road over to Pet store/Vet, and take a RIGHT on Lee Barton Drive (across from McDonalds). To Pfluger footbridge. Cross up and over LB Lake on footbridge to HQ.

9 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ across Pfluger footbridge to south side trail go left towards I-35. At the top of the hill, take a left through the Theater parking lot over to Theater Pass, and take a right on Theater Pass to Woodward. Right on Woodward across S. Congress to name change to Lightsey. At S. First, take a short left then immediate right onto Cardinal. Cardinal to S. 5th Street. Right on S. 5th. S. 5th up to West Mary St. (Library branch at that corner). Left on W. Mary, crossing S. Lamar to Hether St. Hether to Bluebonnet. Right on Bluebonnet at Zilker Elementary, and follow it as it sweeps left (name change to Melridge Place), and hits Rabb Road. You diverge from your 10-12 mile brethren here, and take a RIGHT on Rabb/Azie Morton Drive down to Azie Morton Drive and take Azie Morton to Barton Springs Road. Carefully cross BS Road, and get on Southside trail.  Take trail back towards Lamar and Pfluger footbridge. Cross up and over LB Lake on footbridge to HQ.

Right on Bluebonnet at Zilker Elementary, and follow it as it sweeps left (name change to Melridge Place), and hits Rabb Road. LEFT on Rabb/Azie Morton Drive south to Arpdale. Right on Arpdale down to Barton Parkway (divided road). Right on Barton Parkway over to Wilke. Happily, a LEFT on Wilke up to Barton Hills Drive. Right on BH Drive down to park. Follow trail through park, under BS Road, and up to Southside trail.  Take trail back towards Lamar and Pfluger footbridge. Cross up and over LB Lake on footbridge to HQ.

Stay on Veterans, and skirt around the AHS track, under Cesar Chavez to north side of Cesar Chavez and the bike path. Bike path back to HQ.

Take a left on Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd out to Exposition. Turn around at Exposition, and return LA Blvd back to Mopac and Veterans. Stay on Veterans, and skirt around the AHS track, under Cesar Chavez to north side of Cesar Chavez and the bike path. Bike path back to HQ.

Turn around at Windsor, and return Sharon down to Bridle Path to Exposition, and then after the water stop, go on down to LA Blvd. Left on LA Blvd back to Mopac and Veterans. Stay on Veterans, and skirt around the AHS track, under Cesar Chavez to north side of Cesar Chavez and the bike path. Bike path back to HQ.

Take a right onto Bridle Path, and turn the corner at the park onto Sharon Lane. Cross Windsor, and take a left onto Indian Trail. Right onto Dormarion. At the Mutli-intersection at Tower Drive, veer right onto Margranita Crescent, and wind around the curve to Bland St. Right on Bland up to Westover, where you will turn around. Retrace your steps Bland to Margranita to Dormarion, to Indian Trail, to Sharon Lane, to Bridle Path, to Expo, and down to LA Blvd. Left on LA Blvd back to Mopac and Veterans. Stay on Veterans, and skirt around the AHS track, under Cesar Chavez to north side of Cesar Chavez and the bike path. Bike path back to HQ.

RACE SPECIFIC DISTANCES

July 24 (Jack and Jill Marathon): 20-22 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 22 mile max.

Sept 11 (Surf City Marathon): 10-14 miles recovery long run. Back off a bit from last week.

Sept 11 (Surf City Half Marathon): 6-10 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 10 mile max.

Sept 19 (San Francisco Marathon): 12-16 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 16 mile max.

Sept 26 (Berlin): 10-12 miles recovery long run. Back off a bit from last week.

Oct 2 (St. George Mini): 6-8 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 8 mile max.

Oct 2/3 (St. George, Portland and Twin Cities): 10-14 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 14 mile max.

Oct 10/11 (Chicago, Boston): 10-12 miles recovery long run. Back off a bit from last week.
