Choose your own time between 5:30-6:30am. We are NOT meeting as a group at The Loop, and they will not be open early as usual, so plan your bathroom strategy accordingly. GZLs HQ will remain closed before and after the runs, although the Loop does open on 10:00am Saturdays.

3 Miles: Use the 12 mile map, BUT TURN AROUND AT 1.5 MILES. Take bike path along north side of Cesar Chavez over to dog pound loop under Cesar Chavez, to Veterans around AHS track, to Mopac and Veterans up to LA Blvd. Turn around at LA Blvd, and return LA Blvd, to Mopac, to Veterans around to and under Cesar Chavez, to bike path and back to HQ.
4 Miles: Use the 12 mile map, TURN AROUND AT 2 MILES. Take bike path along north side of Cesar Chavez over to dog pound loop under Cesar Chavez, to Veterans around AHS track, to Mopac and Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd over to Exposition. Turn around at Expo, and return LA Blvd, to Mopac, to Veterans around to and under Cesar Chavez, to bike path and back to HQ.
5 Miles: Use the 12 mile map, TURN AROUND AT 2.5 MILES. Right on Expo up to W. 12th (road at the top of the O Henry track). You’ll turn around at W. 12th (or when your watch beeps 2.5 miles). Turn around there, and retrace your steps back to HQ. Exposition, down to LA Blvd, to Mopac, to Veterans around to and under Cesar Chavez, to bike path and back to HQ.
7 Miles: Use the 12 mile map, TURN AROUND AT 3.5 MILES. Take bike path along north side of Cesar Chavez over to dog pound loop under Cesar Chavez, to Veterans around AHS track, to Mopac and Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to Bridle Path. Right on Bridle Path and follow it around as it curves to the left where it becomes Sharon Lane. You’ll turn around at Windsor Road (or when your watch beeps 3.5 miles). Turn around there, and retrace your steps back to HQ. Sharon back down to corner with Bridle Path. Bridle Path to Exposition, down to LA Blvd, to Mopac, to Veterans around to and under Cesar Chavez, to bike path and back to HQ.
8 Miles: CUse the 12 mile map, TURN AROUND AT 4 MILES. Take bike path along north side of Cesar Chavez over to dog pound loop under Cesar Chavez, to Veterans around AHS track, to Mopac and Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to Bridle Path. Right on Bridle Path and follow it around as it curves to the left where it becomes Sharon Lane. Where Sharon ends, turn left on Indian Trail, then take the first right on Dormarion Lane. Follow that to the multi-way intersection (Dormarion, Tower Drive, and Margranita Crescent) with Tarrytown park on your right and take right hand “Y” veer to Margranita Crescent. Loop around, and you’ll turn around about where the park ends on your right (a street merges into Margranita about there). Turn around and retrace your steps back to HQ. Margranita Crescent, around curve and cross Tower Drive to Dormarion. Dormarion down to Indian Trail. Left on Indian Trail over to Sharon. Sharon down to corner with Bridle Path. Bridle Path to Exposition, down to LA Blvd, to Mopac, to Veterans around to and under Cesar Chavez, to bike path and back to HQ.

Turn around there, and retrace your steps back to HQ. Jefferson down to Northwood. Right on Northwood under Mopac, to name change to Westover. Left on Bland, Left on Margranita Crescent, around curve and cross Tower Drive to Dormarion. Dormarion down to Indian Trail. Left on Indian Trail over to Sharon. Sharon down to corner with Bridle Path. Bridle Path to Exposition, down to LA Blvd, to Mopac, to Veterans around to and under Cesar Chavez, to bike path and back to HQ.

14 Miles: Your map is here. Take a right on 35th, and veer left to 38th, to Shoal Creek where you'll turn left. Take Shoal Creek up to the water stop south of 2222/Northland (this gives you a 14.4 mile round trip. You certainly have the option to turn around when your watch beeps 7 miles at Shoalmont Drive on your right). Turn around at the water stop (or Shoalmont Drive), and return down Shoal Creek all the way to 38th Street. Right on 38th up to Jefferson. Left on Jefferson down to Northwood. Right on Northwood under Mopac, to name change to Westover. Left on Bland, Left on Margranita Crescent, around curve and cross Tower Drive to Dormarion. Dormarion down to Indian Trail. Left on Indian Trail over to Sharon. Sharon down to corner with Bridle Path. Bridle Path to Exposition, down to LA Blvd, to Mopac, to Veterans around to and under Cesar Chavez, to bike path and back to HQ.
16 Miles: Use 20 mile map below and you will turn around at mile 8 and retrace your steps back to HQ. Take bike path along north side of Cesar Chavez over to dog pound loop under Cesar Chavez, to Veterans around AHS track, to Mopac and Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to Bridle Path. Right on Bridle Path and follow it around as it curves to the left where it becomes Sharon Lane. Where Sharon ends, turn left on Indian Trail, then take the first right on Dormarion Lane. Follow that to the multi-way intersection (Dormarion, Tower Drive, and Marganita Crescent) with Tarrytown park on your right and take right hand “Y” veer to Marganita Crescent. Loop around, and take a right on Bland Street, then right on Westover. Cross under Mopac then take a left on Jefferson. Take a right on 35th, and veer left to 38th, to Shoal Creek where you'll turn left. Take Shoal Creek up to White Rock where you'll turn left. Turn around when your watch beeps 8 miles (between the two Janey streets on your right. Return White Rock to Shoal Creek, and down Shoal Creek all the way to 38th Street. Right on 38th up to Jefferson. Left on Jefferson down to Northwood. Right on Northwood under Mopac, to name change to Westover. Left on Bland, Left on Marganita Crescent, around curve and cross Tower Drive to Dormarion. Dormarion down to Indian Trail. Left on Indian Trail over to Sharon. Left on Jefferson down to Northwood. Right on Northwood under Mopac, to name change to Westover. Left on Bland, Left on Margranita Crescent, around curve and cross Tower Drive to Dormarion. Dormarion down to Indian Trail. Left on Indian Trail over to Sharon. Sharon down to corner with Bridle Path. (NOTE: If you go to the access road, your day will total 22.3 miles) Retrace your steps down Shoal Creek, to Foster, over to Great Northern. Down Great Northern to White Rock, and down Shoal Creek all the way to 38th Street. Right on 38th up to Jefferson. Left on Jefferson down to Northwood. Right on Northwood under Mopac, to name change to Westover. Left on Bland, Left on Margranita Crescent, around curve and cross Tower Drive to Dormarion. Dormarion down to Indian Trail. Left on Indian Trail over to Sharon. Sharon down to corner with Bridle Path. WATER
Water stations pretty much normal this week. Hand sanitizer will be affixed to the water barrels to do a quick clean of your water button pushing hands. Feel free to refill your own water bottles as needed. You will want to carry your own water still, depending on any gaps with the water stations or your own ad libbing on route variations.

RACE SPECIFIC WORKOUTS
IF YOUR RACE IS CANCELED, KEEP YOUR FITNESS BY ALTERNATING A LONGER LONG RUN AND A RECOVERY LONG RUN ON SUCCESSIVE WEEKENDS, DEPENDING ON YOUR CURRENT TRAINING LEVELS. (Ex: Alternate a 10-12 mile run with an 8-10 mile run).
September 5th (Patagonia Marathon): Taper madness begins. 14-18 miles, with last 8 @ MGP. Please use legit MGP, and not a dream state pace. Start super relaxed, and finish in style.
September 13th (Boston Virtual Marathon): 20-22 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 22 mile max.
December 6th (CIM): 10-14 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 14 mile max.
December 6th (San Antonio Half): 5-8 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 8 mile max.
