PROGRESSIVE: 4-6 miles with @ 2-4 hard effort CLICK FOR THE ROUTE!

Meet at Gazelles HQ at your start time. No pre-workout warm up necessary.

Start slow and progressively speed up with the last 2-3 miles of your run at hard effort. (10 seconds/mile faster is a good rule of thumb) for each remaining mile to the finish.

Four- and Five-mile routes will be an out and back from HQ using the trail to Lake Austin Blvd and then home. Six miles will be a loop course that finishes on Expo, Lake Austin Blvd and trail to HQ. See maps below.

4-Mile Route is Here Take the Cesar Chavez bike path towards Mopac. Curl under Cesar Chavez and go by Austin High, and under Mopac. Go up Veteran’s to Lake Austin Blvd. Turn around at 2-miles and return back to HQ using the trail or bike path.

5-Mile Route is Here Take the Cesar Chavez bike path towards Mopac. Curl under Cesar Chavez and go by Austin High, and under Mopac. Go up Veteran’s to Lake Austin Blvd. Take a right on Exposition and turn around at 2.5-miles and return back to HQ using the trail or bike path.

6-Mile Route is Here Head up North Lamar to Parkway and go around pease park to Rainbow Blvd. Up Rainbow and take a left on Windsor. Right on Niles to Hartford. Hartford north to Windsor. Left on Windsor (under Mopac) and left on Sharon. Sharon curves right into Bridle Path. Stay on Bridle Path to Exposition. Left on Expo down to Lake Austin Blvd. Head back to HQ via the trail or bike path.
