THE ROUTES
3 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ to southside trail, and head east to where the boardwalk starts. Take the boardwalk to where you look right and see the seafood restaurant. Turn around there, and return boardwalk and SS trail to Pfluger footbridge and to GZLs HQ.
4 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ to southside trail, and head east to where the boardwalk starts. Take the boardwalk to the first exit, and go up to Riverside. Cross Riverside at the crosswalk, over to Alameda across the street. Alameda up to the first real right hand turn, which is East Side Drive. Turn around at East Side Drive, and retrace your steps back to HQ. East Side Drive to Alameda, to boardwalk and SS trail to Pfluger footbridge and to GZLs HQ.
5 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ to southside trail, and head east to where the boardwalk starts. Take the boardwalk to the first exit, and go up to Riverside. Cross Riverside at the crosswalk, over to Alameda across the street. Alameda up to the first real right hand turn, which is East Side Drive. It takes a hard left and travels along a greenbelt for a bit. You will turn around at Lockhart Drive (a street on your right). Retrace your steps back to HQ. East Side Drive to Alameda, to boardwalk and SS trail to Pfluger footbridge and to GZLs HQ.
7 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ to southside trail, and head east to where the boardwalk starts. Take the boardwalk to the first exit, and go up to Riverside. Cross Riverside at the crosswalk, over to Alameda across the street. Alameda up to the first real right hand turn, which is East Side Drive. It takes a hard left and travels along a greenbelt for quite a while. Up up into St. Edward's campus on University. Turn around inside St. Edwards at home plate of the baseball field (not ACTUALLY on the field, but look right, and turn around when you are even with home plate). Retrace your steps back to HQ. University back to East Side Drive to Alameda, to boardwalk and SS trail to Pfluger footbridge and to GZLs HQ.

8 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ to southside trail, and head east to where the boardwalk starts. Take the boardwalk to the first exit, and go up to Riverside. Cross Riverside at the crosswalk, over to Alameda across the street. Alameda up to the first real right hand turn, which is East Side Drive. It takes a hard left and travels along a greenbelt for quite a while. Up up into St. Edward's campus on University. At the top of University, you'll take a left through the parking lot for the theater on your left (don't follow University as it curves hard to the right). Through the theater parking lot to Theater street, which will take you to Woodward. Right on Woodward to and across Congress. Name change to Lightsey. Lightsey to S. First, where you will zig left then right onto Cardinal. Cardinal to S. 5th St. You diverge from the longer running folks here. Right on S. 5th, across Barton Springs Road. You'll go along the Daugherty Center parking lot to the temporary trail and across Riverside to SS trail. For the full 8, go east on the trail over to Stevie Ray Vaughan, where you wll turn around and return to Pfluger footbridge and back to GZLs HQ.

Everybody Else (GZLs peeps): 7-12 miles. If you went 12 last week, maybe cut back to 7-10 this week. For anything else, add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 12 mile mark.
