Saturday Long Run - SPECIAL BOSTON START TIME 9:00am. Everyone else starts 5:45am.

If you start earlier (or later) than your group's call time, please check with your pace pals to make sure your team is all starting at the same time. As always, if you start way before the scheduled start times, please take water to cover yourselves for that first water stop (or two) in case you're ahead of the logistical team. We will be going out and back Shoal Creek via Exposition this week.

THE ROUTES

3 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Turn around there, and return to GZLs HQ. Return Veterans to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

4 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd to Exposition. Turn around there, and return to GZLs HQ. Return Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

5 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to Enfield. Turn around there, and return to GZLs HQ. From there, retrace your steps back down Exposition to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

7 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to Westover. Turn around there, and return to GZLs HQ. From there, retrace your steps back down Exposition all the way to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

8 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to 35th. Turn around there, and return to GZLs HQ. From there, retrace your steps back down Exposition all the way to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

10 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to 35th. Right on 35th up and over Mopac. Left on Jackson at first light to Bull Creek. Turn around there, and return to GZLs HQ. From there, retrace your steps back to Exposition (Jackson to 35th to Exposition). Exposition all the way to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

12 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to 35th. Right on 35th up and over Mopac. Left on Jackson at first light to Bull Creek. Left on Bull Creek up to Hancock. Turn around there, and return to GZLs HQ. From there, retrace your steps back to Exposition (Shoal Creek to Hancock to Bull Creek to Jackson to 35th to Exposition). Exposition all the way to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

14 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to 35th. Right on 35th up and over Mopac. Left on Jackson at first light to Bull Creek. Left on Bull Creek up to Hancock. Right on Hancock to Shoal Creek. Shoal Creek left up to Northland/2222. Turn around there, and return to GZLs HQ. From there, retrace your steps back to Exposition (Shoal Creek to Hancock to Bull Creek to Jackson to 35th to Exposition). Exposition all the way to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

16 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to 35th. Right on 35th up and over Mopac. Left on Jackson at first light to Bull Creek. Left on Bull Creek up to Hancock. Right on Hancock to Shoal Creek. Shoal Creek left up to White Rock. Left on White Rock over to Great Northern. Right on Great Northern up to West Terrace Drive. This is the next right hand street after the baseball complex. West Terrace over to Treadwell Blvd. Right on Treadwell to Bullard, then left on Bullard to White Rock. Left on White Rock back to Shoal Creek. From there, retrace your steps back to Exposition (Shoal Creek to Hancock to Bull Creek to Jackson to 35th to Exposition). Exposition all the way to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

18 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to 35th. Right on 35th up and over Mopac. Left on Jackson at first light to Bull Creek. Left on Bull Creek up to Hancock. Right on Hancock to Shoal Creek. Shoal Creek left up to White Rock. Left on White Rock over to Great Northern. Right on Great Northern up to Foster. Right on Foster to Shoal Creek. Turn around there, and retrace your steps back to Exposition (Foster to Great Northern to White Rock to Shoal Creek to Hancock to Bull Creek to Jackson to 35th to Exposition). Exposition all the way to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Stay on northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

20 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Northside trail to Mopac. Veterans up to Lake Austin Blvd. Left on LA Blvd over to Exposition. Right on Expo up to 35th. Right on 35th up and over Mopac. Left on Jackson at first light to Bull Creek. Left on Bull Creek up to Hancock. Right on Hancock to Shoal Creek. Shoal Creek left up to White Rock. Left on White Rock over to Great Northern. Right on Great Northern up to Foster. Right on Foster to Shoal Creek. Left on Shoal Creek up and across Anderson, cross Steck, and turn around at Cross Creek. From there, and retrace your steps back to Exposition (Foster to Great Northern to White Rock to Shoal Creek to Hancock to Bull Creek to Jackson to 35th to Exposition). Exposition all the way to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac. Take northside trail back to GZLs HQ. NOTE: If you go all the way to 183 with your 22 mile pals, you will end up with 21.3 miles, skipping the Enfield Triangle. You could instead hang at Cross Creek for a bit until your 22 mile friends return from the top of the course, and then you can run home with them until they diverge at Enfield for the full 22.

Left on Jackson at first light to Bull Creek. Left on Bull Creek up to Hancock. Right on Hancock to Shoal Creek. Shoal Creek left up to White Rock. Left on White Rock over to Great Northern. Right on Great Northern up to Foster. Right on Foster to Shoal Creek. Left on Shoal Creek up and across Anderson, cross Steck, up to access road at 183. From there, turn around and retrace your steps back to Exposition (Shoal Creek to Foster to Great Northern to White Rock to Shoal Creek to Hancock to Bull Creek to Jackson to 35th to Exposition). Exposition down to Enfield, out to Lake Austin Blvd, to Mopac, and take northside trail back to GZLs HQ.

THE MARATHONS

March 3rd (Woodlands/Napa Valley): Run smart, run with Joy!

April 14th (Paris/Brighton): 18-22 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 22 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

April 15th (Boston): 20-22 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 22 mile max. SPECIAL START TIME 9:00AM.

April 27th/28th (Revel/Waco/Big Sur/Eugene/London): 16-20 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 20 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

May 5th (Toronto, Vancouver, Avenue of the Giants): 10-14 mile recovery long run. Back off from last week. Start time 5:45am.

May 18th (Beach to Bay): 10-14 mile recovery long run. Back off from last week. Start time 5:45am.

June 2nd (San Diego): 10-12 mile recovery long run. Back off from last week. Start time 5:45am.

June 9th (Tunnel Marathon): 10-14 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 14 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

June 22nd (Grandma's): 10-14 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 14 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

BEGINNER GAZELLES, HALF MARATHONERS, and EVERYBODY ELSE:

Beginner Gazelles!  This week, 3-7 miles. Choose a distance amongst your pace pals, up to that 7 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

Everybody Else (GZLs peeps): 7-12 miles. If you went 12 last week, maybe cut back to 7-10 this week. For anything else, add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 12 mile mark. Start time 5:45am.

March 3rd (Alamo Half): In Austin on Saturday, easy 30 minutes and some striders. On Sunday, run smart, run with joy!

April 7th (Cap 10K): 8-12 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 12 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

April 7th (Cherry Blossom 10 miler): 12 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 12 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

April 7th (San Francisco RnR Half): 5-8 mile recovery long run. Start time 5:45am.

May 5th (Vancouver Half): 5-8 mile recovery long run. Start time 5:45am.

May 18th (Brooklyn Half): 5-8 mile recovery long run. Start time 5:45am.

June 29th (Santa Barbara Half): 5-8 mile recovery long run. Start time 5:45am.
