We are going point to point for 14-20 miles, so carpool will be necessary to get up to point north for the various distances. For 18-20 Miles, go up to Big Lots parking lot at 183 and Spicewood Springs. For 14-16 miles, go to Gateway Cinema parking lot, on Stonelake.

If you start earlier (or later) than your group's call time, please check with your pace pals to make sure your team is all starting at the same time. As always, if you start way before the scheduled start times, please take water to cover yourselves for that first water stop (or two) in case you're ahead of the logistical team. We're going point to point from points north, if you're going 14-20 miles [SEE CARPOOL NOTES ABOVE]. For 0-12 miles, going out and back through UT and up Duval, leaving HQ at 5:45am.
3 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Trader Joe's, up to 3rd Street, and over to Congress. Left on Congress up to 11th. Right on 11th up to San Jacinto. Turn around at 11th @ San Jacinto, and return back to Congress, left on Congress down to 3rd, to Trader Joe's, and back to HQ.
4 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Trader Joe's, up to 3rd Street, and over to Congress. Left on Congress up to 11th. Right on 11th up to San Jacinto. Left on San Jacinto to MLK. Turn around at MLK, and return up San Jacinto alongside the capitol grounds. Up up up to 11th Street, then right on 11th over to Congress, left on Congress down to 3rd, to Trader Joe's, and back to HQ.
5 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Trader Joe's, up to 3rd Street, and over to Congress. Left on Congress up to 11th. Right on 11th up to San Jacinto. Left on San Jacinto to and through UT campus to Dean Keaton. Turn around there, and return Dean Keaton back through UT campus, veering right at bottom of campus to remain on San Jacinto alongside the capitol grounds. Up up up to 11th Street, then right on 11th over to Congress, left on Congress down to 3rd, to Trader Joe's, and back to HQ. This route measures 5.6 miles, but it includes the water stop. If you want more like 5 miles exactly, then turn around at the north end of the football palace on UT campus, and return home from there.
7 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Trader Joe's, up to 3rd Street, and over to Congress. Left on Congress up to 11th. Right on 11th up to San Jacinto. Left on San Jacinto to and through UT campus to Dean Keaton. San Jacinto to Duval. Veer right onto Duval up to 38th St. Turn around at 38th, and retrace your steps home. Duval back down to San Jacinto, through UT, to San Jacinto past the Capitol up to 11th. Right on 11th over to Congress. Left on Congress down to 3rd Street, right on 3rd St. and to Trader Joe's and back to HQ.
8 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ over to Trader Joe's, up to 3rd Street, and over to Congress. Left on Congress up to 11th. Right on 11th up to San Jacinto. Left on San Jacinto to and through UT campus to Dean Keaton. San Jacinto to Duval. Veer right onto Duval up to 43rd St. Turn around at 43rd, and retrace your steps home. Duval back down to San Jacinto, through UT, to San Jacinto past the Capitol up to 11th. Right on 11th over to Congress. Left on Congress down to 3rd Street, right on 3rd St. and to Trader Joe's and back to HQ.

Left on White Rock to Shoal Creek. Right on Shoal Creek down to Hancock. Left on Hancock, and veer left onto Hancock/North Loop. Take North Loop across Lamar and Guadalupe to name change to 53rd. Right on Duval (I think you'll see Flight Path Coffee on your right at that intersection on Duval). Duval down down to merge with San Jacinto. San Jacinto to and through UT campus. 18 Miles (ALT): For those folks running with your 20 mile brethren, you have the option of dropping the 20 mile kids off at Big Lots, and going instead to Rudy's BBQ a couple of miles down Jollyville Road (on the east/north side of Jollyville), and parking there. You will then wait on your friends to sweep by, and you can then hang with them for the rest of the 20 mile route listed below. Your choice.

THE MARATHONS
Feb 17th (Austin): Saturday meet at HQ 6:30am for an easy 20-30 minutes on the trail, plus some striders to loosen up. Look for a great band at mile 5 on Sunday.
March 3rd (Woodlands/Napa Valley): 12-16 miles, with last 6 @ MGP. Easy start, and then crank up to marathon goal pace for last 6 miles of the run. Start time 5:45am.
April 14th (Paris): 16-20 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 20 mile max. Start time 5:45am.
April 15th (Boston): 18-20 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 20 mile max. Start time 5:45am.
April 27th/28th (Revel/Waco/Big Sur/Eugene/London): 14-18 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 18 mile max. Start time 5:45am.
May 5th (Toronto, Vancouver, Avenue of the Giants): 10-14 mile recovery long run. Back off from last week. Start time 5:45am.
