We're touring Scenic and Mountain Bonnell this week, plus a bonus hilly route for Boston peeps, and trail and such for those going longer.

6 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Head to northside trail directly towards Mopac. Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd out to Enfield (Mozart's). Turn around at the water stop there and come back to HQ, retracing your steps all the way to northside trail and to GZLs HQ.
7 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Head to northside trail directly towards Mopac. Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd out to Enfield (Mozart's). Continue Scenic to Cherry. Wind around to Rockmoor. Left on Rockmoor up to Stevenson. Turn around at that corner (Stevenson@Rockmoor), and return Rockmoor to Cherry to Scenic, etc., retracing your steps all the way to northside trail and to GZLs HQ.
8 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Head to northside trail directly towards Mopac. Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd out to Enfield (Mozart's). Continue Scenic to Cherry. Wind around to Rockmoor. Left on Rockmoor up to Stevenson. Left on Stevenson over to Scenic. Scenic down along river to the big house on the right that has the large open lot next to it, about half way down. Turn around there, and return Scenic, etc., retracing your steps all the way to northside trail and to GZLs HQ.

You will diverge there, and will take southside trail over to the First St. bridge, where you will cross over LB Lake to northside trail and to GZLs HQ.

Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd out to Enfield (Mozart's). Continue Scenic to Cherry. Wind around to Rockmoor. Left on Rockmoor up to Stevenson. Left on Stevenson over to Scenic. Scenic down along river to hard right corner, which takes you back to Scenic. Left on Scenic at stop sign. Scenic around to Pecos. Left on Pecos up to 35th. Left on 35th over to Mt. Bonnell Road. Right on Mt. Bonnell Road up, up, up to parking lot and base of steps. Turn around there, and return down Mt. Bonnell Rd. to 35th to Pecos to Scenic, etc., retracing your steps all the way to Mopac. You will diverge there, and will take southside trail to the Congress Ave. bridge. Cross over on the Congress bridge, where you will cross over LB Lake to northside trail and back to GZLs HQ.

Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd out to Enfield (Mozart's). Continue Scenic to Cherry. Wind around to Rockmoor. Left on Rockmoor up to Stevenson. Left on Stevenson over to Scenic. Scenic down along river to hard right corner, which takes you back to Scenic. Left on Scenic at stop sign. Scenic around to Pecos. Left on Pecos up to 35th. Left on 35th over to Mt. Bonnell Road. Right on Mt. Bonnell Road up, up, up to parking lot and base of steps. Turn around there, and return down Mt. Bonnell Rd. to 35th to Pecos to Scenic, etc., retracing your steps all the way to Mopac. You will diverge there, and will take southside trail to the boardwalk and the I-35 bridge. Cross over on the I-35 footbridge, where you will cross over LB Lake to northside trail and back to GZLs HQ.
20 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Head to southside trail on Pfluger footbridge, and then head towards Mopac. Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd out to Enfield (Mozart's). Continue Scenic to Cherry. Wind around to Rockmoor. Left on Rockmoor up to Stevenson. Left on Stevenson over to Scenic. Scenic down along river to hard right corner, which takes you back to Scenic. Left on Scenic at stop sign. Scenic around to Pecos. Left on Pecos up to 35th. Left on 35th over to Mt. Bonnell Road. Right on Mt. Bonnell Road up, up, up to parking lot and base of steps. You will continue on Mt. Bonnell Road to the first left hand street, which is Mt. Bonnell Drive. Left on Mt. Bonnell Drive through stop sign at Balcones down to Edgemont. Left on Edgemont to Madrona, veer left onto Madrona around to Balcones again. Right on Balcones to Hancock. Right on Hancock over to Bull Creek. Right on Bull Creek down to Jackson, veer right onto Jackson. Jackson down to 35th. 35th right up and over Mopac to Exposition. Left on Expo to Enfield. Right on Enfield out to LA Blvd. Left on LA Blvd back to Mopac. Cross to southside trail at Mopac, and take southside trail out to I-35 bridge on boardwalk, cross up and over the lake to northside trail, and return northside trail to GZLs HQ.

Left on Scenic at stop sign. Scenic around to Pecos. Left on Pecos up to 35th. Left on 35th over to Mt. Bonnell Road. Right on Mt. Bonnell Road up, up, up to parking lot and base of steps. You will continue on Mt. Bonnell Road to the first left hand street, which is Mt. Bonnell Drive. Left on Mt. Bonnell Drive through stop sign at Balcones down to Edgemont. Left on Edgemont to Madrona, veer left onto Madrona around to Balcones again. Right on Balcones to Hancock. Right on Hancock over to Bull Creek. Right on Bull Creek down to Jackson, veer right onto Jackson. Jackson down to 35th. 35th right up and over Mopac to Exposition. Left on Expo to Enfield. Right on Enfield out to LA Blvd. Left on LA Blvd back to Mopac. Cross to southside trail at Mopac, and take southside trail out to I-35 bridge on boardwalk. Continue on boardwalk and trail out to past the Hostel, and turn around at the big Google construction site (or is it Oracle?) where those apartments once were on your right across the street. Return to I-35, cross up and over the lake to northside trail, and return northside trail to GZLs HQ.

Left on Edgemont to Madrona, veer left onto Madrona around to Balcones again. Right on Balcones to Hancock. Right on Hancock over to Bull Creek. Cross to southside trail at Mopac, and take southside trail all the way out to Longhorn Dam, crossing to northside trail, and return northside trail to GZLs HQ.

Scenic around to Pecos. Left on Pecos up to 35th. Left on 35th over to Mt. Bonnell Road. Right on Mt. Bonnell Road up, up, up to parking lot and base of steps. You will continue on Mt. Bonnell Road to the first left hand street, which is Mt. Bonnell Drive. Left on Mt. Bonnell Drive through stop sign at Balcones down to Edgemont. Left on Edgemont to Madrona, veer left onto Madrona around to Balcones again. Right on Balcones to Hancock. Right on Hancock over to Bull Creek. Right on Bull Creek down to Jackson, veer right onto Jackson. Jackson down to 35th. 35th right up and over Mopac to Exposition. Left on Expo to Enfield. 18 Miles: Your map is here. Start at GZLs HQ. Head to northside trail directly towards Mopac. Veterans up to LA Blvd. LA Blvd out to Enfield (Mozart's). Continue Scenic to Cherry. Wind around to Rockmoor. Left on Rockmoor up to Stevenson. Left on Stevenson over to Scenic. Scenic down along river to hard right corner, which takes you back to Scenic. Left on Scenic at stop sign. Scenic around to Pecos. Left on Pecos up to 35th. Left on 35th over to Mt. Bonnell Road. Right on Mt. Bonnell Road up, up, up to parking lot and base of steps. You will continue on Mt. Bonnell Road down the north side of the mountain (be careful on the twisty road to be visible), all the way to 2222. You will CAREFULLY go right on 2222 for a short while, exiting left onto Mt. Bonnell Road again. This is the first left hand street off of 2222. Up Mt. Bonnell Road to Cross Valley Run. Right on Cross Valley over to Mesa. Left on Mesa, all the way up to Far West Blvd. Right on Far West Blvd to Balcones (frontage road along Mopac). Balcones back to the right, crossing 2222 again, heading south. Balcones past Perry Park, and you will take a left onto Madrona Drive, which is a stop sign. Madrona Drive to Edgemont. Right on Edgemont, down to Balcones. Left down Balcones to 35th Street. Stop for water at dry cleaners again. Then up 35th to Exposition. Right on Expo all the way down to LA Blvd. Left on LA Blvd back to Mopac, then northside trail and back to GZLs HQ.
