Gazelles Circle FAQs

What is the easiest way to view the Circle?

Everybody can easily access the Circle with a desktop device. Just go to the Gazelles MEMBERS dashboard and click the Circle icon to join.

Is there a phone app for Gazelles Circle?

  • IOS: Download the Circle Communities app to log in to the Circle.

  • Android: Android users are still waiting for an app to release. :(

Why do we need the Gazelles Circle?

  1. To strengthen our Gazelles community. The pandemic and social distancing has left many Gazelles feeling disconnected. We have a large community of amazing runners—with so much knowledge to share—we want to bring everyone together in one virtual space. This is a new version of the old forum.

  2. To streamline "official" group communications. We think this platform will be able to replace having numerous forms of communications like Facebook groups, the Gazelles blog and GroupMe.

  3. Total group inclusion. There is no need to be a user of another platform to participate. Your Gazelles membership logs you right in, making Gazelles Circle accessible to all active members.

  4. Easy to use. The interface is clean and intuitive (similar to a Facebook feed).

How do I post in Gazelles Circle?
Select the appropriate “space” for your post from the list at the left and create a new post at the top. Make sure you are not posting in a comment section.

What will happen to our private Facebook group or GroupMe threads?
We won’t delete GroupMe threads until the majority of our group has become members of the Circle. You will be notified when we no longer need GroupMe texts or our private Facebook page.

How do I request a training plan for a specific race I’m running?
Please fill out our team race form to receive a specific training plan. By doing this, you will be added to all training communications and receive your plan by email.

How do I schedule an office appointment with Gilbert?
There is a link to schedule each Friday on the MEMBERS dashboard.

I missed a workout. May I attend a different group to make it up?
Yes. We have several workouts each day to accommodate many different schedules. Attend when you can, but don’t do the same workout back to back!

Can I come to a different time/day of the week than I originally signed up for?
Yes. We have several workouts each day to accommodate many different schedules. Attend when you can, but don’t do the same workout back to back! You can also change the weekday group you chose by editing your profile on our website.

How long do typical workouts last?
Workouts last 60-70 minutes. You can always cut your workout short if you need to leave earlier.

How do I change / cancel my membership?
All memberships can be cancelled, downgraded, upgraded or renewed from your online Gazelles account. [Click on ACCOUNT/JOIN in the upper right menu to make account changes.] We have a no refund policy, so please make sure you cancel before your next billing period to avoid unwanted charges.

Can I hold my membership temporarily?
No. If you cannot attend workouts for a while, you need to cancel your membership from your Gazelles account on our website. I never made it to the workouts. Can I get a refund?
No. Please read our cancellation policy.

My spouse / child / parent is already a Gazelles member. Do you give discounts for family members?
Yes. Please email us to request family discounts.
