Hannah Lewis - Business ManagerContact
Hannah started running with Gilbert’s Gazelles in 2009. A novice runner, with two toddlers at home and working full time, she set her sights on improving her fitness and running a “fast” 10k. After a few weeks of Gilbert’s coaching and the contagious energy of the Gazelles, she had moved on to the goal of running a marathon. Six years and 10 marathons later, she still loves being a part of this great Gazelle family! Gilbert’s coaching has taken her from a novice 5k/10k runner to a Boston marathoner. She has improved her time with each race, ultimately taking nearly an hour off that original marathon time! Her marathon success is secondary to the joy of running with friends and the camaraderie of the Gazelle family.
In February 2015, this passion for running and love of the Gazelle family led to Hannah leaving a 15 year technical career with Freescale Semiconductor and taking on the Business Manager role for Gilbert’s Gazelles.Marathons:

Sonya Manson - Coach, Far West GazellesContact
Sonya's running background started out in high school, running cross country, track and the Capital 10k. However, she didn't catch the running bug until after teaching fitness classes while in college. Sonya started teaching various fitness classes at World Gym, Gold's and some corporate fitness programs in Austin while going to school. She ran for a change from the gym scene and decided she liked it better than the gym. She first coached a marathon group for Austin Fit in 1996 and ran her first marathon (Austin) and qualified for Boston. Since that first marathon, Sonya was hooked and has run 14 marathons, including Austin, Big Bend, and New York. She also loves 5k's, 1/2 marathons and triathlons.
Sonya loves to run, swim and bike whenever she can, but enjoys her time with her family the most, especially with her 11 year old daughter. Sonya is also blessed to be a cancer-survivor of 11 years.Personal Bests:

Kenny Hill - Assistant CoachContact
Kenny Hill started running at the age of 46 as a way to get in shape to play soccer with a coed team. His first goal was to run 4 laps nonstop at the local track. Kenny soon found he was a better runner than soccer player and started entering 5k and 10k races. Encouraged with some early race results, he started training with Runtex University and later with Mixon Henry. Kenny was drawn to the Marathon after running the anchor leg of the five man relay at the Austin Marathon. He then trained with Austin Fit and ran his first Marathon in 2000. Since then he has run 12 marathons, 4 of them at Boston.
Kenny joined Gilbert's Gazelles in 2003. Over the years, he matured with the sport and earned an assistant coaching position under Gilbert Tuhabonye, taking over the South/Southwest group.
Kenny is married to Anne, has one son who is a Personal Trainer in Denver, one parrot, and two cats.
